I'm 6'4" 190 lbs and wear 36" waist x 34" inseam pant size. I got the XL. Waist is barely big enough to wear over a pair of jeans - little snug but comfortable. The bottom 2-3 inches of my jeans hang out the bottom of the downpour pants when I'm riding a bike. Customer service told me the XL has a lower crotch so even though the inseam is 32" on the XL, it's technically longer. I still think they're too short for my legs, though, so I wish they came in longer sizes, especially since they're made for bike commuting and the constant bending of the legs causes them to ride up a few inches. Not a deal breaker for me though.

Otherwise, these check most of the boxes. The adjustable ankle and mid-calf velcro straps are perfect and I LOVE that the zipper goes up so high - super easy to get the pants on and off over boots and pants. They're super light weight and do a great job of keeping me dry. No pockets to be found but that probably improves water proofing and isn't a huge deal for me. I keep my keys and phone in my pants that I'm wearing underneath or inside my rain jacket.

Today, heavy NYC rains made me joyful to pull on my new Downpour Pant for first time. Loved them, but there could be improvements. I am 6' and have an inseam of 33" and weight 190 lbs. I wish the pant could have been just a little longer to cover my socks entering into my shoes. While there are different waist sizes, there is only one length, 32", and for me it could be longer. Secondly, because the pant is so light, slightly less than 7 oz, I plan to place them inside my sling bag, so they are available anytime I need them. So, it would be great if the pant could fold into itself making a self contained pocket, carrying case. Thank goodness for Ziplock bags! But other than these two small critiques, I love the pant. Good value, even if a little pricey.
