    I only wear chrome shoes!

    So far( these and the 415 combat boot have been my favorites since I’ve been rocking chrome gear back in 2006! Perfect fit for my wide foot which I wear 12.5 but these are like 13’s they are the best.

    All round bangers

    I have the short version as well and they’ve been great, but these boots are stylish, comfy, and cover another 2ish inches for the puddles.

    Great rain boots for bike commuting, from the road to the meeting room

    Just got these but have done 2 stormy 13 miles round trips. Along with some REI waterproof over pants, my feet are nice and dry. The sole works well on my Brompton's flat pedals and much of my energy is transferred into forward motion rather than squishing the shoe. They are stylish and comfortable enough to just keep wearing all day in the office. They were a bit hard to get on the first couple of times but they have broken in pretty quickly. Early days but I think these are going to prove a good investment.

    faulty construction

    good design but faulty construction. the rubber trim that attaches the sole to the leather upper became unglued after a month of regular wear. needless to say, this undermines the boot's weather resistance.
